Marking the anniversary of the premiere of the first season of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense , it was announced this Saturday that the anime's second season will premiere in 2022.
Synopsis
The novel tells the story of Kaede Honjou, a young woman who starts playing the MMO NewWorld Online at the request of her friend Risa Shiramine. Within the game, Kaede creates the character Maple, but Maple's fear of pain causes her to put all her experience points into defense. As a result, she moves slowly, cannot use magic, and even a rabbit can get the better of her. But, it seems, she acquires a skill known as "Absolute Defense" as a result of putting her points into VIT, as well as a "Counterattack Skill" that works against special moves. Now, with her ability to nullify all damage, she embarks on adventures.
Staff (Season 1)
Shin Oonuma ( WATAMOTE ) and Mirai Minato ( Masamune-kun no Revenge ) directed the first season at studio SILVER LINK . Fumihiko Shimo ( Anima Yell! ) was responsible for series composition. Kazuya Hirata designed the characters and served as chief animation director.
Finally, Yuumikan began serializing BOFURI on the Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2016, and is still releasing chapters of the story on the site. Kadokawa Comp Ace magazine in May 2018.
