The official Twitter account of Studio BONES , which produces the Vanitas no Karte based on Jun Mochizuki , announced this Friday that the second part of the anime will premiere in January 2022.
Voice actress Rie Kugimiya (Kagura in Gintama ) joins the cast as Chloe (pictured below), who made her first appearance at the end of the first season.
Furthermore, the anime premiered on July 2nd and will air in two cours, splitting the anime in half.
Synopsis
Rumors surrounding the Book of Vanitas, a mechanical grimoire of dubious reputation, draw Noah, a young vampire seeking to save a friend, to Paris. What awaits him in the City of Flowers, however, is not long hours walking on the sidewalks or scouring dusty bookstores in search of the tome. Instead, his prey comes to him… in the arms of a man claiming to be a vampire doctor! Thus entering a conflict that threatens the peace between humans and vampires, will Noah join the curious and unbalanced Vanitas in his quest to save the vampires?

Tomoyuki Itamura ( Owarimonogatari ) is directing the anime at studio BONES , and Deko Akao ( Noragami ) is supervising the script. Yoshiyuki Ito ( Carole & Tuesday ) is the animation director and character designer.
Finally, Jun Mochizuki's Vanitas no Karte has been serialized in Square Enix 's Gangan Joker since 2015.
