The official website for Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji (Wolf Girl & Black Prince), an adaptation by author Ayuko Hatta, has released its first promotional trailer. The premiere is scheduled for October of this year.
Kenichi Kasai (Bakuman, Toradora!) will direct the anime at TYO Animation, based on scripts by Sawako Hirabayashi. The series is composed by Sawako Hirabayashi. Maki Fujioka is designing the characters, and Go Sakabe is composing the series' soundtrack.
The story revolves around Erika, who lied to her friends about having a boyfriend, showing them a photo of an anonymous guy who turned out to be a classmate of theirs and was quickly recognized by her friends. Their conversations were then overheard by the boy, Sata Kyouya. Erika had to explain to him and propose the idea of being fake boyfriends.
However, Sata, who on the outside is a handsome and charming boy, has feelings that make him a dark prince using his reasons to blackmail her in her place.
