The official website for the anime Uchuujin MuMu (Me and the Alien MuMu ) has revealed a new teaser and promotional visual. The teaser features the opening theme song and the premiere of the series' second cour, which premieres on July 2, 2025.

Author Hiroki Miyashita launched the manga in Shonengahosha 's Young King Ours in 2019. Singer Ako will be responsible for the opening song, "MOVE MOVE ." Check out the full teaser below:

Dubbing cast
Studio OLM is producing the anime. Tomoya Takahashi (Moon Cosmos the Movie) is directing. Keiichirō Ōchi (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) is writing the script. Kenji Ōta (Pon no Michi) is designing the characters, and the Kuricorder Quartet is composing the music.

Synopsis of Uchuujin MuMu
The story follows MuMu, an alien who takes the form of a cat and travels to Earth to recover lost knowledge about his home planet's advanced technology. But on his world, war has decimated engineers and intellectuals, leaving his civilization with no one capable of understanding the technologies developed. To rebuild his knowledge, MuMu decides to study Earth's home appliances, but ends up causing daily confusion in the life of Sakurako Umeyashiki, a young university student who agrees to shelter him.
