Brazilian Portuguese is now a reality in the Zelda titles Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, with menus and subtitles adapted to the national language. Now, for the first time, players can explore Hyrule with full comprehension of the text and dialogue, significantly improving the experience.

In addition to including the language support, Nintendo took the opportunity to announce technical improvements that prepare the games for the Nintendo Switch 2. This strategy demonstrates the company's commitment to its Brazilian player base, while also introducing significant new features for the next generation.

Zelda update includes Brazilian Portuguese subtitles

For the first time, two of Nintendo's most important titles will have official localization in our language. The decision was received with enthusiasm by the gaming community, which for a long time had to resort to alternative translations to understand the games' stories.

Now, with the update available in the Nintendo Switch menu, players simply need to follow the manual update path to access the new subtitles. This feature makes the narrative more accessible and immersive, especially for new players joining the franchise.

Visual improvements and Nintendo Switch 2 support arrive with the update

With the Nintendo Switch 2 launch approaching, Nintendo has also introduced technical updates to the games. Among the improvements are increased resolution, HDR support, and greater performance stability. These changes aim to prepare the titles for the new hardware, providing a smoother and more detailed visual experience.

Furthermore, Tears of the Kingdom now supports new amiibo, which unlock exclusive content related to characters in the game. This expands customization possibilities and reinforces the integration between software and accessories, one of the hallmarks of the Nintendo platform.

New mobile app expands features and brings unprecedented functions for Zelda fans

Another highlight is the update to the official Nintendo Switch App, which has gained features specifically for fans of the franchise. Among them, the Zelda Notes feature stands out for offering achievements, extra content, and audio navigation, further enriching the journey through the kingdoms of Hyrule. In addition, voice and video communication functions between players have also been added through the GameChat system, as well as automatic upload of screenshots and videos.
