Jujutsu Kaisen – New theory shows how Satoru Gojo could return to life
Check it out:

While Gojo was conversing with his deceased colleagues in chapter 236, Nanami brings up a conversation about the best way to move. Mei tells him: “ If you want to become a new person, go north . If you want to return to what you were in the past, head south . ”
Although this phrase impacted Gojo, he didn't give an answer about which path he should follow. So fans believe that Gojo will return if he chooses the northern (future) path. According to the theory, choosing the northern path means that the character would accept becoming a new person to return to the world of the living.
This idea gained traction in Japan, as some believe that Gojo was inspired by Siddhartha Gautama , the Buddha . The founder of Buddhism chose the northern path and became a monk during his journey. In this sense, Gojo could return if he follows the same steps as in Buddhist legends.
