A few days after the terrible attack suffered by Kyoto Animation , which took the lives of 34 people so far, thousands of people have already paid their respects through fanarts, tributes and other forms around the world, trying to help the studio in any way possible, no matter how small.
The renowned Japanese news outlet NHK had reported that the animation studio would officially be accepting donations 24 hours after the tragedy. This initially didn't materialize.
However, fans, through alternative donation and fundraising sites, began to take sides and managed to raise around 2 million dollars through the well-known GoFundMe .
Despite everything, today, July 24th, KyoAni officially released on its website the details of the bank account where donations will be received (which you can see below). The information also includes the SWIFT code for international transfers.

Furthermore, KyoAni also highlights three points, namely:
1- The money raised will be given to the victims and their families to help them with any necessary costs, in addition to also being used for the reconstruction of the studio.
2- All donation movements will be transparent, any action with the money raised will be duly disclosed.
3- All official fundraising activities will be publicized by Kyoto Animation through its website.
Kyoto Animation has also revised the statement about the incident on its website, updating that it does not intend to release the names of the deceased until the investigation is completed, out of respect for friends and family.
