The manga "A Condition Called Love" enters its final arc

The 14th volume of Megumi Morino's manga A Condition Called Love ( Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai ) revealed on Monday (13) that the manga will enter its final arc in the January issue of Kodansha 's Monthly Dessert , which will be on sale on November 24. Kodansha will release the 15th volume in April 2024.

The manga is being adapted into an anime ; starring Kana Hanazawa as Hotaru Hinase and Chiaki Kobayashi as Noi Hana (Hananoi-kun), scheduled to premiere in April 2024.

Synopsis

Hotaru Hinase is a girl who never quite understood love and was therefore resigned to the possibility of never falling in love. One day, while chatting with a friend at a café, Hotaru sees Hinanoi, one of the most handsome boys in school, being rejected by his girlfriend. While returning home, Hotaru comes across Hinanoi sitting alone in the snow. In a gesture of empathy, Hotaru extends her umbrella to the boy.

Morino launched the manga in Monthly Dessert magazine in December 2017. The manga has over 3.8 million copies in circulation, and it also won the 'Best Shoujo Manga' award at the 45th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021. The anime will be directed by Tomoe Makino at East Fish Studio . Hitomi Amamiya is supervising the scripts. Akiko Satou is doing the character designs.
