The second season of the anime Megaton Musashi has a new promotional image. According to information from the official website, the series premieres in Japan on October 7th.

Synopsis:
In a very ordinary city, there were people who lived a calm and fulfilled life. But they didn't know it was a false peace. The unknown truth… That the earth is already dead… 99.9% of human beings are killed by the attack of mysterious alien forces from space. The enemy was named “Dractor”. Eventually, a large hole was made in the earth and it was terraformed into an environment suitable for the aliens to live in. Humanity had no choice but to escape their sight and hide in the shelter. Awaiting the day of resurrection, I don't know when to visit… The inhabitants of the Ixia Shelter had their memories of the day of destruction erased and lived a normal life without knowing anything.
