The new trailer for the remake of " RoboCop " has just been released online. The video explains the plot of the production, directed by José Padilha (Elite Squad 1 and 2).
In 'Robocop ,' the year is 2029, and the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is the center of robotics technology. Drones are winning wars around the globe, and now they want to bring this technology to the streets. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father, and good police officer, doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in the city of Detroit. After being seriously injured in the line of duty, Alex's life is saved by OmniCorp's robotic technology.
The film will premiere in Brazil before its US release. Sony Pictures announced that the Brazilian release date has been moved up from February 21, 2014, to January 31, 2014, one week before its US release.
