Rising of the Shield anime Crunchyroll

We have confirmation of the 2nd and 3rd seasons of the anime The Rising of the Shield Hero (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari). The information officially arrived via the streaming service Crunchyroll .

Synopsis:

Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who fills his days with games and manga, suddenly finds himself in a parallel universe! He discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons and tasked with saving the world from destruction. As the Shield Hero, the weakest of the heroes, not everything is as it seems. Naofumi soon finds himself alone, penniless, and betrayed. With no one to turn to and nowhere to run, he is left with only his shield. Now, Naofumi must rise to become the legendary Shield Hero and save the world!

Therefore, the light novel is by the author Aneko Yusagi , directed by Takao Abo (Norn9), the story is by Keigo Koyonagi (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars) and the character design is by Masahiro Suwa (animation director of Chaika the Coffin Princess).

Finally, the first season of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari (The Rising of the Shield Hero) arrived in Japan in January of this year and had 25 episodes produced by the studio Kinema Citrus .
