A while back, the classic Street Fighter got a fun live-action called " Street Fighter: Legacy, " which was more like a short film. In 2013, the producers launched a Kickstarter campaign to make the series a reality. However, it was soon canceled because someone had already provided the necessary funding for the production.
Titled Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist in Portuguese (Street Fighter: Punho Assassino), the web series based on the fighting game series will tell the origin story of Ryu and Ken, and filming has already begun. The plot focuses on the training of Ken (Christian Howard), Ryu (Mike Moh), and their master, Gouken (Akira Koieyama, Shogen).
Joey Ansah directs and co-writes the script with Howard. The web series is scheduled to premiere in 2014.
