The official website for the anime adaptation of Lynn Okamoto 's " Brynhildr in the Darkness " has released its first promotional video. The animation is being handled by studio ARMS (MAOYU, Queen's Blade).
The anime will premiere in April. Okamoto began serializing the manga in Young Jump in 2011, while Shueisha magazine published the sixth compiled volume of the manga on September 19th.
The original manga story follows Murakami Ryouta, who has been tormented for 10 years by the death of his childhood friend, Kuroneko. Feeling guilty about her death, Ryouta strives to become a NASA researcher, hoping to fulfill a childhood promise he made to her. He works hard towards this goal, constantly blaming himself, until one day, a girl who looks remarkably like Kuroneko appears before him.
