WataNare gets a new trailer with a release date

The anime adaptation of the light novel WataNare (Watashi ga Koibito ni Nareru Wakenaijan, Muri Muri! ou Muri Janakatta!?) has received a new trailer. With this, fans can now note the expected release date for the anime.

Therefore, the WataNare anime will premiere in the July 2025 season, animated by Studio MOTHER.

Synopsis WataNare:

"I'm going to have the perfect school life!" Rena Amori decides to completely change her life when she enters high school, after spending her adolescence as a loner. She dreams of living like a popular young woman with lots of friends, but her introverted personality almost suffocates her in this new environment.

WataNare is a Japanese yuri light novel series written by Teren Mikami and illustrated by Eku Takeshima. Shueisha has released six volumes since February 2020 under its Dash X Bunko imprint. However, a manga adaptation with art by Musshu was launched in Niconico Seiga's Dash X Comic section in May 2020. Furthermore, the manga has also been licensed in Brazil by Panini.
