After the break due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the Yu -Gi-Oh! Sevens anime has finally announced its return, with episode 10 scheduled for August 14th .
TV Tokyo re-broadcast episodes 1-6 on July 11. BS -TV Tokyo will therefore re-broadcast episodes 7-9 from July 24 and will air episode 10 on August 14 .
The anime features an elementary school protagonist for the first time in the franchise. The anime features a new "Rush Duel" rule and is set in the future in Gōha City. Yūga Ōdō, a fifth-grader, loves inventions and dueling. His classmate, Luke, is the "number one duelist of Gōha 7 High School." Gakuto is the school's student council president, and Romin is Yūga's classmate.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens celebrates the franchise's 20th anniversary Konami announced the series with the teasing phrase: "The history of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series will undergo changes."
