Therefore, the anime remake was animated by Toei Animation (Dragon Ball Super), directed by Kazuya Karasawa, and based on the Dragon Quest RPG.
Synopsis:
The story begins with a 12-year-old boy named Dai (Fly) remembering a story told to him by his adoptive grandfather, the monster wizard Brass, about the defeat of the demon king Hadlar at the hands of a hero known as Avan. But after the defeat of the Demon King Hadlar, all the monsters were freed from his evil will and peace reigned supreme throughout the world again for ten years.
