Fox Film has released the first trailer for the theatrical adaptation based on the Assassin's Creed , created by Ubisoft . The film will premiere in cinemas on December 21, 2016.
In the film, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender), uses a new technology that can mess with his genetic memories, and ventures into the world of Aguilar, his 15th century Spanish ancestor. Because of this, Callum ends up discovering that he is descended from a secret society whose members use their knowledge and skills to put an end to the Templars, a powerful modern-day organization.
