In 365 Days to the Wedding, Takuya and Rika work together at a travel agency in Tokyo. Although both are single and content with their lives, an impending transfer to an office in Siberia threatens their routines. To avoid this, Rika suggests they pretend to be engaged and get married within a year, thus ensuring their stay in Tokyo. However, what begins as a practical plan to avoid the transfer may turn into something deeper as the two get to know each other better.
