The official website for Square Enix 's Young Gangan manga adaptation light novel series has been canceled.
Additionally, Manga Up Hakuya Yamasaki 's manga 86: Run Through the Battlefront has been canceled. Both announcements cited the creator's ongoing health issues.
Dengeki Bunko imprint (which publishes the original light novel), Square Enix has decided to cancel both manga.
Synopsis:
The pure-blood Albas form the 85 districts of the Republic, excluding the half-bloods in a "nonexistent" district, 86. And in this war against the Empire, it is the half-bloods of District 86 who form the trenches of the battlefields and fight to the death or, if they survive, to be accepted into Republican society. Lena is the young commander who accepts the mission to remotely command the troubled Spearhead squad, led by Shin, on the front lines of the battle against the Empire.
