Synopsis

An inmate is reborn in another world with the promise of a peaceful life. Although born into royalty, at first glance his magic seemed to be weak, which made his parents abandon him without thinking in a forest to be devoured by monsters. However, his magic is actually inhumanly strong. Exactly what will he have to do to achieve the peaceful life he so desires?

Kodansha has not yet revealed staff information, animation studio or more precise dates. Although the anime is an isekai story, which is currently out of date, author Sumimori Sai already had another TV adaptation of his works in 2012 with Mahoutsukai Nara Miso wo Kue! so we can at least expect more experienced support from him.

Sai Sumimori began serializing Jitsu wa Ore on the Shosetsuka ni Naro in September 2018, where it is still being published. Kodansha published the first printed volume with illustrations by Ai Takahashi in May 2019, and published the fifth notel volume in October 2021.

Finally, Takahashi released a manga adaptation in the Suiyoubi no Sirius section of Kodansha's Nico Nico Seiga website in April 2019. Kodansha Comics published the sixth volume digitally on April 19. Sai Sumimori has many published novels and one of the most notorious is Saikyou Yuusha wa Oharaibako→Maou ni Nattara Zutto Ore no Musou Turn (From Betrayed Hero to Invincible Demon King) about a hero who is rejected for being ugly.
