The official website for the anime adaptation of Ai Mai Mi has announced that the series will have a second season, titled Ai Mai Mi ~Mōsō Catastrophie~ (Delusion Catastrophie).

The main cast and staff will remain the same as the first season: Yuka Otsubo as Ai, Aya Uchida as Mai, Maaya Uchida as Mi, and Ai Kayano as Ponoka-sempai. Seitaro Mukai of the comedy duo Tenshin, who played the narrator in season 1, is now listed on the cast page.

Based on the 4-koma by author Choboraunyopomi, the anime gained 3 minutes per episode, the story revolves around the four members of the manga club, Ai, Mai, Mi and Ponoka, who go through absurd situations of all kinds, except drawing manga.
