Sad news for fans. It was announced on Friday, January 17th, by the press office of the Animazement (North Carolina).
Animator Koichi Tsunoda had been battling cancer for a long time and, unfortunately, did not survive. Koichi Tsunoda passed away last Tuesday, January 14th.
The Animazement event will donate $1 from every ticket sold to cancer victims in memory of Tsunoda.
Tsunoda worked on several anime such as Galaxy Express 99, Mazinger Z, Final Yamato, Transformers: The Movie, among others.
