The anime Kore Kaite Shine ( Draw This and Die ) has released a new official visual featuring the central characters of the story and confirmed the main cast. The adaptation of Toyoda Minoru 's manga will premiere in July 2026 on Japanese television, on the Nippon TV block.

The protagonist, Ai Yasumi, will be voiced by Akira Sekine . The character lives on an island far from Tokyo and has an intense passion for manga. After a significant event, she decides to create a manga club at her school. Meanwhile, the strict Japanese language teacher, Rei Teshima, is voiced by Saori Hayami .
In addition, the cast includes Saya Hitomi as Kokoro Fujimori , a talented member of the art club, Kanon Fujimura as Sachi Akafuku , the protagonist's childhood friend, and Inori Minase as Hikaru Ishiryuu , an amateur manga artist still in high school.
On the other hand, the visuals also highlight important secondary characters, reinforcing the atmosphere of creative discovery in the work. In this way, the anime promises to portray personal growth through art and collective effort.
The series adapts an award-winning manga, winner of the 2023 Manga Taisho Award , published in Shogakukan's Gessan magazine.
