This Saturday, the official website for the Pet announced that it will premiere in the fall season of this year. The adaptation of Ranjou Miyake 's manga will be directed by Takahiro Oomori (Durarara!!).
Sadayuki Murai (Natsume's Book of Friends) is responsible for the story and Junichi Hayama (A town where you live) for the character design. The animation is being handled by Geno Studio .

Synopsis of the anime Pet:
The psychic thriller revolves around individuals who possess the ability to infiltrate people's minds and manipulate memories. Their powers are used in the underworld to cover up incidents, murders, and other acts. These powers can not only destroy the spirits of others but also corrupt the users' own hearts at the same time. The users have had to protect their fragile and insecure hearts, as if they were chained to one another. They are called "pets" out of fear and contempt.
Pet was originally published between 2002 and 2003 by Shogakukan , totaling 5 volumes. In 2009, it was republished by Enterbrain . Finally, the anime will only be available on Amazon's streaming service.
