Aniplex of America announced on Twitter that Funimation will resume broadcasting new episodes of the anime The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED , which was based on the bestselling novel Fugo Keiji ( Wealthy Detective ) by Yasutaka Tsutsui .
Furthermore, The Millionaire Detective will restart the transmission of the episodes already released on July 16th, thus returning from the 3rd episode on July 30th.
Tsutsui published the original novel between 1975 and 1977, but the anime is set in the modern day. Daisuke Kanbe ( Yusuke Onuki ) is assigned to the “Modern Crimes Task Unit” – a unit created to keep troublesome police officers away from others. There Kanbe becomes Haru Kato's ( Mamoru Miyano ) partner.

Tomohiko Ito ( Sword Art Online , ERASED ) is directing the anime at CloverWorks . The BUL team is credited with developing the story, and Taku Kishimoto ( ERASED , Fruits Basket 2019 , Haikyu!! ) is supervising and writing the anime's script. Keigo Sasaki ( ERASED , The Seven Deadly Sins ) is doing the character designs, and Yugo Kanno ( Psycho-Pass , Ajin ) is composing the music.
Therefore, technology and science website Gizmodo Japan is credited with “device coordination” to ensure that the devices used are portrayed realistically in the anime.
