Ano Hana (The Flower We Saw That Day), a live-action special that will feature the original story from the 2011 anime, has received new information. The band that will compose the special's main theme will be Galileo Galilei (Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, Taifū no Noruda), who will perform the song "Aoi Shiori" (Blue Bookmark) as the opening theme. The song also served as the opening theme for the original 2011 anime.
Masaki Nishiura (Densha Otoko) is directing the project, with a script by Yoshihiro Izumi (Ranma ½, live-action Death Note). The special will be released in Japan later this year.
