Appare-Ranman! returns after delay due to Covid-19

The official website by PA Works, anime, published Appare-Ranman! announced on Tuesday that the anime will resume streaming with the first episode on July 3rd. The fourth episode will premiere on July 24th.

PA Works has postponed the broadcast of the anime after the fourth episode due to the effects of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The anime premiered on April 10th.

Synopsis:

At the end of the 19th century, after a certain accident, the brilliant but socially inept engineer Sorano Appare and the shrewd but cowardly samurai Isshiki Kosame find themselves adrift in a boat from Japan to America. Penniless, the two decide to compete in the Trans-America Wild Race to win the prize money and return to Japan.

Staff

Takeshi Kikuchi and Daijo Kudo are credited as project planners, with APPERRACING credited with the original story concept. Masakazu Hashimoto is directing, supervising the script, and credited with the original story draft. Yurie Oohigashi is doing the character designs based on Ahndongshik's original designs, and is also the chief animator director. Shiho Takeuchi is doing the mechanical design sketches for the anime.

Furthermore, the trio Mia REGINA performed the anime's opening theme song, "I got it!", while Showtaro Morikubo performed the ending theme song.

Appare-Ranman! is receiving a manga adaptation, published by Kadokawa in Young Ace on April 3rd. Furthermore, Ahndongshik, who does the character designs for the anime, is drawing the manga.
