The animation for Arifureta 2 is by studio asread (White Fox) and Studio Mother, the direction is by Akira Iwanaga (Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee, The Morose Mononokean), the script is again by Shoichi Sato , and the character design is again by Chika Kojima.
Synopsis
Hajime Nagumo, a 17-year-old boy, is an ordinary otaku who spends his life sleeping and going to school when, out of nowhere, he and his entire class are summoned to another world and given the mission to save humanity from extinction. But what Hajime thought was his otaku dream turns into a nightmare, as all his classmates receive immense powers, while Hajime receives only one skill, which serves only one purpose. Ridiculed and bullied by his classmates for being weak, he soon finds himself in despair. Will he be able to survive in this dangerous world of monsters and demons with only a glorified blacksmith's level of strength?
The first season of Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou premiered in July 2019 and aired for a total of 13 episodes. Furthermore, its second season arrived this year with 12 episodes.
