The official website for the Yubisaki to Renren (A Sign of Affection) anime has revealed promotional art, two more voice actors, and the opening and ending theme songs.
The newly announced voice actors are:
- Nao Tōyama as Ema Nakazono
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Kokoro Iyanagi
The Japanese band Novelbright is performing the anime's opening theme song, "Yuki no Oto" (The Sound of Snow), and the musical group ChoQMay is performing the ending theme song, "snowspring".
The anime will premiere in Japan in January 2024.
Therefore, the anime is directed by Yūta Murano (Kakushigoto, Brave Beats) at studio Ajia-do. Character design by Kasumi Sakai ( Animation Director of Love Live! Sunshine!! ).
Synopsis
The story follows Yuki, a typical university student whose world revolves around her friends, social media, and the latest promotions. But when a chance encounter on the train leads her to meet Itsuomi-san, a friend of a friend and fellow student, her world begins to expand. However, even though Itsuomi-kun speaks three languages, sign language is not one of them. Will the two be able to learn to communicate and express the developing feelings between them?
Morishita launched the manga Kodansha 's Dessert magazine in July 2019. Furthermore, the work was nominated for the Best Shōjo Manga award at the Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
