The official website for the anime Yubisaki to Renren (A Sign of Affection) has revealed promotional art, two more voice actors, and the opening and ending songs.
The newly announced voice actors are:
- Nao Tōyama as Ema Nakazono
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Kokoro Iyanagi
Japanese band Novelbright is performing the anime's opening theme song, "Yuki no Oto" (The Sound of Snow), and music group ChoQMay is performing the ending theme song, "snowspring."
The anime will premiere in Japan in January 2024.
Therefore the direction of the anime is by Yūta Murano (Kakushigoto, Brave Beats) at the Ajia-do studio. Character Design Kasumi Sakai ( Animation Director of Love Live! Sunshine!! )
Synopsis
The story follows Yuki, a typical college student whose world revolves around her friends, social media, and the latest promotions. But when a chance encounter on the train leads her to meet Itsuomi-san, a friend of a friend and fellow student, her world begins to expand. However, even though Itsuomi-kun speaks three languages, sign language isn't one of them. Will the two be able to learn to communicate and express their developing feelings?
Morishita launched the manga in Kodansha 's Dessert in July 2019. Additionally, the series was nominated for the Best Shōjo Manga award at the Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
