The anime Assassination Classroom has received special updates as part of the series' 10th-anniversary project. As part of its re-airing on Japanese TV, the production released a fourth uncredited opening sequence, highlighting the song "Setsuna Blossom," performed by the students of Class 3-E.

The new opening sequence coincides with the current rerun phase and reinforces the nostalgic atmosphere of the commemorative project. Furthermore, the team took the opportunity to get the audience excited for the big announcement of the year: the film Assassination Classroom: Minna no Jikan, which premieres in Japanese theaters on March 20, 2026.

The feature film will include never-before-seen episodes, never adapted for the TV series. In this way, the production promises to expand the story beyond the 47 episodes already known to fans. Meanwhile, advance tickets are already available in Japan, including options for online viewing.

The 10th Anniversary Time project continues with three major initiatives. The first is the complete rebroadcast of the anime over the course of a year. The second includes a commemorative radio special. Finally, the film marks the culmination of the celebrations, solidifying the legacy of the work created by Yusei Matsui.
