The official website for Assault Lily has just revealed that due to the COVID-19 , the new anime in the franchise will be postponed until October .
Previously, the anime was planned to be released in July , but the postponement was necessary to preserve the health of the cast.
Synopsis: On Earth, in the near future, humanity faces imminent destruction from mysterious giant creatures known as "Huge Ones." The entire world unites against the "Huge Ones" and successfully develops the weaponry known as "CHARM" (Counter Huge Arms), combining science and magic. CHARM exhibits high synchronization rates with teenage girls, and girls who use it are seen as heroes called "Lilies." Throughout the world, "Garden" military academies are established to train Lilies to confront the "Huge Ones" and serve as a foundation to protect and guide people. This is, therefore, a story about girls who aspire to become Lilies within these gardens.
