manga sells 25 million copiesThe advance November issue of Bessatsu Shonen announced last week that the 11 volumes of the sensational Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) series by author Hajime Isayama have 25 million copies in circulation throughout Japan. The magazine is celebrating this milestone by offering two QUO cards to its readers who purchase the magazine.

Oricon a statistics and information company) estimates that 20.38 million copies have been sold as of September 8th. All 11 volumes of Attack on Titan have regularly appeared on Oricon's weekly list of the 50 best-selling manga in Japan.

For the first time, the list of the 20 best graphic novels is also appearing in American bookstores. For example, Nielsen BookScan had more Attack on Titan manga than any other series in the United States. LOL

Remember that the anime adaptation ended last month. And the anime series team has stated that a second season has NOT yet been greenlit.
