Is the author of Shingeki no Kyojin already planning his new project?

Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan author Hajime Isayama finished his manga in 2021, and the fourth season of the anime is in its final stages. However, fans are already tuned in to Isayama if he is creating something new.

Therefore, the repercussions arrived when the French magazine VF interviewed Isayama about the manga and the final season of the anime. According to Isayama, he is turning his attention to his next “project” . The author does not provide other details, but he had previously stated that he wanted to take a break after Shingeki no Kyojin ended.

Check out the excerpt:

Shingeki no Kyojin author already has plans for his next work

Any last message for the fans who have been with you since the beginning?

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) allowed me to connect with an unimaginable number of people through the criticism and messages of support I received. I would never have been able to experience this if I had led a normal life, and it was a true joy to share these precious moments with readers. Right now, what I'm dying to do before thinking about my next job is take a midday walk through a not-so-quiet neighborhood with a glass of sake in hand. For me, this is exactly freedom.

Isayama has been away from print publications for a few months, since the release of his last chapter in 2021.

Some fans may have already noticed, but for those who didn't, it turns out that Isayama never commented that his next “work” was a new manga.

Synopsis:

The story begins inside cities surrounded by three enormous walls that protect them from gigantic man-eating humanoids called Titans; The story follows Eren Yeager, who vows to exterminate the Titans after a Titan causes the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother.
