The new anime Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds has had its official premiere date set for July of this year. In addition, we have new promotional art and a teaser for the series.

Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Are You Lost?, Happy Sugar Life, Love Flops, Smile Down the Runway) is directing the anime at Studio Blanc , GoRA is supervising and writing the series scripts. Artist redjuice (Beatless, Guilty Crown, The Empire of Corpses) is creating the original character designs, while Misaki Kaneko (Smile Down the Runway) is drawing the finalized character designs. Naoya Tanaka is the production designer.
Synopsis
The story takes place on the island of Ayakashima, where Yukito, a boy with a mysterious power to control water, and Jingi, a student of his deceased father, return to the island where he was born. But Yukito's return is mysteriously anticipated by two other men from the island.
