The official website for Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! has revealed the new trailer and visual for season 2. Additionally, the video confirms the July premiere and highlights the theme song “Shaisuma—!”, once again performed by Yui Sakakibara.
is now directing Shunji Maki studio CANDY BOX. Meanwhile, Yū Satō returns to write the scripts alongside Hotaru Asafuji. Mori takes on character design and animation supervision. Finally, Fūga Hatori composes the soundtrack.
The first season premiered in 2021 and expanded the universe of the Azur Lane, bringing "slice of life" versions of the iconic girl ships. The anime adapts Hori's 4-koma manga, published since 2018.

The cast retains popular names like Nozomi Yamane (Javelin) and Yō Taichi (Ayanami).
