The second season of Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! has received a new promotional video and confirmed its premiere for July 5th in Japan. The preview also features the song “Lu lu lun♪ ~Urahara Kibun wa Automatic”, performed by Miyuki Hashimoto.

Furthermore, the anime will have an advance screening on June 7, 2026, before its official premiere on Japanese TV. The broadcast will air on BS11 and Tokyo MX channels, around midnight local time.
Another highlight is the return of Yui Sakakibara, who performs the theme song “Shaisuma—!”. The main cast also remains, including familiar voices such as Nozomi Yamane, Yō Taichi, and Maria Naganawa.

The anime adapts the manga Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin!, a yonkoma comedy created by Hori and published since 2018. The first season premiered in January 2021, produced by Yostar Pictures studio.
The franchise originated from the mobile game Azur Lane , initially released in China in 2017. The game blends strategy and the collection of stylized warships, gaining global popularity with versions in Japanese and English.
