Writer Zappon , author of the light novel Banished From The Heroes' Party , revealed on his Twitter that he had an accident, and then had to be hospitalized and undergo surgery for a broken bone. Zappon later stated that the surgery was a success .
According to the writer, a car collided with him while he was walking on the sidewalk.

The franchise currently has over 1 million copies in circulation .
