During the MTV Movie Awards X-Men: Days of Future Past was shown , showing a battle between some mutants in the future against the threat of sentinels.
The plot takes place about ten years after X-Men 3 and, in the past, it takes place about ten years after the events of First Class.
In a future where mutants have been decimated by the Sentinels, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is sent to the past, to work in partnership with a reticent Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), amid the turbulent 1970s.
