During the MTV Movie Awards X-Men: Days of Future Past was shown , depicting a battle between some mutants in the future against the threat of the Sentinels.
The plot takes place about ten years after X-Men 3 and, in the past, about ten years after the events of First Class.
In a future where mutants have been decimated by Sentinels, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is sent to the past to work alongside a reluctant Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) during the turbulent 1970s.
