The second season of Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.has revealed a new 30-second promotional video and introduced two new characters who will be present in upcoming episodes. Additionally, the preview highlights the opening theme song “Latte Magic,” performed by syudou in collaboration with Yūsei Yagi, a member of the group FANTASTICS.

New characters arrive in the plot
Among the new additions to the cast are Sakae Tōnomori, voiced by Manaka Iwami, a priestess from the traditional Tōnomori family of Kyoto. Masaya Fukunishi will voice Hibiki Yamimori, a student at Kyoto Magic University.
The sequel premieres on Japanese television on July 5, 2026. Studio JCSTAFF remains responsible for the animation, but the direction is now in the hands of Riki Fukushima, known for his work on Beyblade the Movie: Fierce Battle and Skate-Leading Stars.
Changes in the Magilumiere team
The new season also brings important changes behind the scenes. Michiko Yokote takes over script supervision, while Makoto Miyazaki returns to compose the soundtrack. The ending theme will be performed by VTuber Marine Houshou with the song “BooooM!!!”.
Based on the manga by Sekka Iwata and Yū Aoki, the Magilumiere anime follows Kana Sakuragi, a young woman who finds an unexpected path when she joins a company specializing in professional magical girls.
