Even after the anime in 2023, Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) remains one of the most influential franchises in Japanese pop culture. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Studio MAPPA, a new official illustration by Mikasa Ackerman has been released, honoring the series' journey and thanking fans around the world for their support.

Mikasa is featured in the MAPPA celebration
The artwork depicts Mikasa walking towards a tree atop a hill, wearing her traditional red scarf. According to Studio MAPPA, the illustration was created especially to thank viewers who have followed the adaptation of Hajime Isayama's manga over the years.

The studio took over production of the final season of Attack on Titan, following initial work done by Wit Studio. Since then, MAPPA has solidified its reputation with productions such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga , and Dorohedoro, becoming one of the most recognized companies in the industry.

In addition to the new Attack on Titan image, MAPPA also recently revealed special artwork for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. A third commemorative visual will be released soon. Furthermore, the company confirmed a special broadcast for June 19th, where it will present updates on its upcoming anime projects.
Meanwhile, the Attack on Titan franchise remains active. The manga has surpassed 140 million copies in circulation, and rumors about Attack on Titan 3, the new game in the series, have gained momentum following a recent age rating.
