Synopsis
The new anime will therefore feature characters that appear on the collectible stickers packaged with the snacks. The story takes place in a world where the value of Bikkuri-Man stickers is so high that they need to be transported in a money transport vehicle. There was also the famous robbery case a year ago, called the "300 million Bikkuri-Man sticker case". One day, a part-time delivery man named Yamato gets involved in a sticker battle between two competing convenience stores. Angel Mart, owned by store manager Phoenix, is famous for its easy-to-use, shiny stickers. The Devil Store across the street also tries to attract Bikkuri-Man fans to its store. Ultimately, former comrades are divided into allies and enemies, and the battle of destiny begins.
Tomohiro Tsukimisato (How Clumsy You Are, Miss Ueno, Anime Kapibarasan) is directing the anime at Shin-Ei Animation and Lesprit . Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream!, The Idolm @ster SideM) is in charge of series scripts, Ayano Owada (How Clumsy You Are, Miss Ueno) is designing the characters, while Yasuhiro Misawa (Hinamatsuri, How Clumsy You Are, Miss Ueno) is responsible for the music.
Finally, the anime announcement coincided with "Bikkuri-Man Day" in Japan, which took place on April 1st. Bikkuri-Man snacks have therefore become a huge success in Japan since their launch in 1977.
