Black Clover – Manga will go on a 2-week hiatus due to the author’s health problems

This year's 50th issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump Yuuki Tabata 's Black Clover manga will take a two-week break, and will return in the magazine's 52nd issue on November 28.

The magazine stated that the break was due to the author having had a “sudden illness”.

Synopsis

The story centers on a young man named Asta, born without magical power in the kingdom of Clover (something unheard of), but with his ambition, newfound abilities and friends, aims to become the next Wizard King. The anime adaptation of the manga therefore premiered in Japan in October 2017. The anime was originally listed with 51 episodes, but continued into a new season with episode 52 releasing in October 2018, in addition, it continued again into a new season in October 2019. The 170th and final episode aired in March 2021.
