The Japanese publisher has released the official cover illustration for Volume 38 of Black Clover, marking the definitive conclusion of the story created by Yuki Tabata. The volume will be released in Japan on August 4, 2026, and will only include events up to the final chapter of the series.

The official guide arrives in the same month

In addition to the final volume, the franchise will also receive a new official guidebook in August 2026. The material will include explanations of over 400 spells, detailed information on approximately 250 characters, and previously unreleased commentary from Yuki Tabata himself about the magical universe of the work.

Another confirmed highlight is the inclusion of a completely new manga illustrated by Tabata. Although details have not yet been revealed, the announcement caught the attention of readers for expanding the content of the Black Clover even after the conclusion of the main series.

Ending without an epilogue divides readers

On the other hand, many readers commented on social media about the absence of an epilogue in Volume 38. Furthermore, according to the information released, the collected edition will only have the direct conclusion of the final battle, without extra chapters showing the characters' future after the main events.

Even so, the new guidebook ended up serving as an important bonus for fans of the series. For more news about Black Clover, manga, and new anime, keep following the daily updates on AnimeNews.
