Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from publisher Shueisha revealed that the Black Clover anime will be getting a movie . The publisher stated that it will reveal more details at a later date.

The anime will therefore end with its 170th episode , which will air this coming Tuesday. The final episode will contain an " important announcement ".
Black Clover premiered in Japan in October 2017 and was originally listed with 51 episodes, but continued into a new season, with episode 52 being released in October 2018 and subsequently continuing with yet another new season in October 2019. On April 28, 2020, the anime went on hiatus due to the pandemic, and was then resumed on July 7 of the same year with episode 133.
The current arc in which the anime takes place is the Clover Kingdom vs. Spade Kingdom arc , which has been ongoing since January 5th.
