The anime adaptation of Blade & Bastard has finally received some important news. Warner Bros. Japan released the first promotional video for the series, as well as confirming its premiere for 2027. The anime will also be simulcast in Japan on the HIDIVE.

The production brings together experienced names from the industry. Tomoki Kobayashi, known for Akame ga KILL!,is directing at Xingfu Entertainment studio. Naruhisa Arakawa, while Rina Iwamoto handles the character designs.
Synopsis
Set in the universe of the classic Wizardry franchise, Blade & Bastard follows Iarumas, a resurrected adventurer who has lost all memories of his previous life. His routine consists of exploring dungeons and recovering the bodies of fallen adventurers, hoping to bring them back to life. However, his journey changes when he meets Garbage, a swordswoman who survived a brutal tragedy.
