The new cover of Animedia magazine has been revealed, and with that, it was possible to see that the anime “Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War” will be the highlight of the new edition.

Synopsis
After a series of murders in the Hollow and several disappearances in the Rukongai district, it is revealed that the Quincy were actually alive. To jog their memory, the Quincy are an order of reishi-manipulating human mediums who kill Hollows rather than purify them like the Soul Society. Thus, it is believed that they were killed by the Society en masse 1,000 years ago, with the exception of the Ishida family.
As such, Tomohisa Taguchi ( Twin Star Exorcists, Kino's Journey – The Beautiful World, Akudama Drive) is replacing Noriyuki Abe to direct the anime at Studio Pierrot. Masashi Kudo is returning as character designer, while Shiro Sagisu is returning to compose the music.
The anime's first arc then concluded in December with a one-hour special that combined episodes 12 and 13 of the anime. Finally, the anime is based on the " Thousand-Year Blood War " arc from Tite Kubo's "Bleach" manga.
