Spoiler alert: Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 4 , the anime first introduced the character's mother Megumi Fushiguro . Her image emerged through the flashback of Megumi's father, Toji Fushiguro , as he faced Satoru Gojo .

At first, Toji never showed any attachment to Megumi or the rest of his family. However, being on the verge of death, Megumi's father had a brief flashback of his baby son and his wife. Megumi's mother's name is still unknown, except for her surname, Fushiguro. Apparently, she has already passed away, but she managed to leave an affectionate mark on Toji's memories.
Synopsis:
The story therefore follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight against curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. So, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a student in training under the guardianship of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA . The studio also handled the animation for the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
