The new cover of Animedia magazine was revealed, and with that, it was possible to see that the anime “Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War” will be the main highlight of the new edition.

Synopsis
After a series of murders in the Hollow and several disappearances in the Rukongai district, it is revealed that the Quincy were actually alive. The Quincy, to jog your memory, are of the order of reishi-manipulating human mediums who kill Hollows instead of purifying them like the Soul Society, so they are thought to have been killed by the Society en masse 1000 years ago, with the exception of the Ishida family.
As such, Tomohisa Taguchi (Twin Star Exorcists, Kino's Journey – The Beautiful World, Akudama Drive) is replacing Noriyuki Abe to direct the anime at Studio Pierrot. Masashi Kudo is returning as character designer, while Shiro Sagisu is returning to compose the music.
The first arc of the anime then ended in December with a one-hour special that combined episodes 12 and 13 of the anime. Finally, the anime is based on the “ Thousand Year Blood War ” arc from the manga “Bleach”, by Tite Kubo.
