Nio Nakatani revealed on her Twitter account this Thursday (27) that her manga Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) will end in three chapters (her tweet specifically says that the manga will end in four chapters, including the new chapter which debuted in the new issue of the monthly magazine Comic Dengeki Daioh also on Thursday). If there are no delays, the manga will end on September 27th.
The manga's seventh compiled book volume revealed on April 26 that the manga's eighth volume will be the final volume, and will be released in November.
Seven Seas Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in North America, and describes the story:
Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day when she will receive a confession of love that will leave her heart full of bubbles and blushes, and yet, when an older classmate confesses his feelings to her... she feels nothing. Disillusioned and confused, Yuu enters high school still not knowing how to respond. That's when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president, Nanami, turn down a suitor with such maturity that she is inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has their shoujo romance finally begun?
Nakatani launched the manga in Kadokawa's monthly Dengeki Daioh magazine in April 2015. Kadokawa also released a comic anthology for the series on December 25, as well as a side-story novel that was released last November. The manga has more than 850,000 copies in print in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment shipped the manga's sixth volume on March 26.
The manga inspired an anime adaptation that debuted last October. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime. An adaptation of a play also premiered in May.
