The official website has released a new trailer for the anime Blue Box (Ao no Hako). Additionally, fans have learned the series' premiere date

Therefore, the premiere of Ao no Hako (Blue Box) will take place on October 3, 2024, in Japan. Netflix has also confirmed that the series will be available from October 4th. The trailer also features the opening theme "Same Blue" by the band Official HIGE DANDism, and the ending theme "Teenage Blue" by EVE.

Synopsis of Blue Box:
Taiki plays badminton and likes Chinatsu, who plays basketball. Although they both train together every morning, one spring day their relationship takes an unexpected turn. Chinatsu ends up moving in with Taiki, who decides to take the opportunity to work even harder at sports and create a bond with his new housemate and romantic interest.
Therefore, Miura originally began drawing the manga as a one-shot in Weekly Shounen Jump in August 2020. The manga began serialization in the magazine in April 2021, with its chapters collected into 16 tankōbon volumes in August 2024. However, Shueisha also simultaneously publishes the series in English for free on the Manga Plus app and website.
Finally, in February 2022, Viz Media announced that it had licensed the series for print; the first volume was released on November 1 of the same year.
